Someone said you can
It really depends on what you’re starting with i guess
But if you can’t sing and people tell you to shut up because you sound bad then it’s impossible IMO
My aunt was a chorus teacher so she knows

A shorty I was kicking it with last year was on some fukk shyt trying to fukk with a real nikka peace and tranquillity. Cause I had already told this bytch stop hitting me up talking bout can we at least be cool. I was like no bytch....several times.

But shorty kept hitting me so I was like yeah shorty we cool. So she hit me to link one time and I was like bring me some food. I said I want some paella:ohlawd: Shorty gonna talk about $30 or some shyt cause it got a lot of seafood and I wanted a big thing of it. I’m like :childplease:

Now to be fair, shorty was a chef and she had a business making food and paella is expensive. But bytch it’s me, you know a nikka need special treatment. The fukk smh. So she like nikka why are you so crazy, the world don’t revolve around you.

So I was like whatever bytch, don’t ever contact me again. But later that day I was making a beat. Then I low key found a vocal sample with a rapper saying some disrespectful shyt with her name in it. So I sampled it and put it in the hook, and sent it to her:myman:

Now this bytch never responded. fukk her. The point of the story is, these hoes lucky I can’t sing because I would definitely add it to my petty arsenal

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
It depends on what you mean by “sing.”

If you mean like technically sing: staying on key, being able to change registers smoothly, belting, etc. Yeah, you can learn that. If you’re talking about how you sound in terms of vocal timbre — most of that is genetic. How flexible your vocal chords are, the resonance in the design of your face, and so on.

For the most part, yes, you can learn how to sound good, especially when younger. If your standard for the word "sing" is being a diet Luther or Whitney, then no.
I agree but this goes for anything

Everybody can learn to play trumpet well, but they can't be miles Davis

Everyone can learn box effectively but they won't be iron mike Tyson

Everyone can learn how to make money with the stock market but they won't be warren buffett

It goes on and on.....

I say if someone really wants to do something, they should go for it regardless of whether they end up being the best. We should all just be the best version of ourselves. In regards to singing, the most celebrated singers are the ones who knew how to use their strengths and weaknesses to sound unique. The greatest technical skills aint always the most interesting. Like imagine how the ohio players would've sounded if sugarfoot tried to sing like smokey Robinson:manny:

Otherwise, you might as well do nothing cause it's always gonna be someone better :yeshrug:

And that's a hard thing to accept. Mike Tyson once said something like humans weren't meant to humble, we're meant to be humbled :wow:

Shyt, lately in my life it's certainly seeming that way :wow:
