Do people still have cookouts?

I feel like I would go to at least 4-5 each summer when I was a kid.

I doubt people do anything except July 4.

I don't know when it really stopped. But, I feel you. Seems like my family only does one maybe two non-holiday specific cookouts a year on both sides. My Dads side they get together a little bit more frequently, but still only a handful of "cookouts". One of my cousins that passed. We used to joke about how he would hop cookouts. Like he'd show up at a family cookout talkin about he been "Quein all day" this man didn't put nothing on a grill, he was just hoppin and pickin up plates.



Breh would've been starvin in these streets today cause nobody got cookouts like that.
