The driver is fukking stupid. Its up to you to accept deliveries or not. They could have simply refused, now theyll most likely face a theft charge(which makes it EXTREMELY hard to find a job period), and the customer will get a refund and most likely their original order for free. Good job dumbass.

I don’t understand the concept of begging for a tip that isn’t compulsory.

The buyer will get a refund for the missing food and the driver still won’t get a tip, so what has been accomplished here?

Those driver apps are mostly tip/incentive based. The base pay is only a couple of dollars. The tip is the payment mostly.

I tried it for some extra money. If they dont tip before they not gonna tip after. Literally they'll send u orders for $3. Decline. People are greedy. Tip at least a buck u broke piece of shyt. Or enjoy waiting 2 hours for somebody desperate to pick up your $5 taco bell order
