I just wanna sell a couple of things. Is there a way to avoid fees?

I'd use Craigslist, too, or both. Set up a Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr for your products. Don't ever let anyone know where you live. Shoes can get your door kicked in at 3am. I'd ship, only. Get a bunch of right sized boxes and make it part of the cost. I've seen other shoe sellers do it this way, and they seem successful. Ebay is a good way to build trust. When I sell on Craigslist I post my 100% rating Ebay account.

I suggest doing both as well. Depending on the item, you could get more money on Ebay through the bid process.

take it easy guys. I do use Craigslist but nikkas been bullshyttin around here. They ain't trying buy no Jordans or if they do they always try to lowball.

Example. I got a pair of white cement 4s nds worn 1x. I put them up on Craiglist and Facebook and nikkas want to trade or lowball. One nikka said let me get them for $100

I go on ebay and see the same shoe worn 1 time like mine goin for $190 with like 19 bids

If you have someone you trust with a ebay account, ask them if they can put your item up.If you are a brand new seller you wont get much money for them as people have no idea if you can be trusted or not.

You will get charged fees. I think its like 8% from Ebay and 2% from paypal.
Its usually free to post the item.

Sell it as a buy it now if you want a fixed price and nothing else.
