Omg this black police superintendent is up here splaining!!! He reported so many rumors without verifying that he helped stir up the racists on fox.

General Honore is actually 1/2 black he’s a good dude. Not afraid of his people. He was there to help.

I hate seeing my people helpless like this.

I was actually in Vegas when Katrina hit. I’ll never forget feeling guilty.

This was a really great documentary. Just finished watching and had been watching over the last 2 days. Teared up a few times, was angry a bunch and just disgusted at not only the way FEMA handled things but especially the parts on episode 4 about the "looting" and those people bragging about shooting black people. Loved seeing the part at the end about the people that could go back, going back and rebuilding their communities but also understanding why some people didn't want to stay or return.
:salute:

Oh yeah, Hulu with ads is TERRIBLE. So many damn ads.

On the first episode and it definitely is “deeper” than When the Levees Broke (even though that one was dope as fukk too), interested to see the following episodes.

Criminalizing people in a desperate situation is some of the foulest stench to ever exist on earth...........a week and some days in a refugee camp right here in America
