It has everything to do with rap and hip hop culture. This was a multimillionaire that decided to shoot dice in an alley to "keep it real" and surround himself with hot headed killers and shooters instead of professional armed security. Why else would a multi-millionaire engage in such foolishness if not for a culture that celebrates having shooters and killers on your team who are ready to pop off at any moment? They litterally rap about this on all their records.

I don't even know what to say anymore I swear to God these labels they just want young black men to kill themselves! They don't care cause it aint in their community and they love watching us destroy ourselves. As long as they can feed their families.

I don't wanna blame rap cause I grew up on it...but I'm hurt seeing young black men die.


I always swore with what I did musically I would never promote black on black violence or any music that denigrated black women and I know that takeoff's pass and had nothing to do with rap but more from the culture surrounding it but I'm just sick of watching young black men die. And want to be a apart of the solution. And try to turn things around. Thats why I got into music...to try to be a positive influence..not to be preachy or self serving...but to show brothas there's another way.

I just see all these music videos on youtube with all these young black men pointing guns at the camera and I'm just like "they want us to kill ourselves". This shyt is sad.
