Because not being sexually attracted anymore to someone you’ve built a life with doesn’t mean that you don’t love them, respect them and value the life you’ve created together. You can also find your sexual chemistry again if both people are dedicated in doing so.

But none of that will stop becoming accustomed to your wife/husband. You either have the capacity to maintain that attraction in perpetuity, or like most people, you don’t and simply place less importance on sexual attraction and focus on other aspects of the marriage.
