Coli Hoop Experts, What is Kelly Oubre Ceiling?

I remember seeing him back in HS at a few all star game and everyone said he was one of the top prospects. I didn't see the hype then or really in college but now he's looking



Like paul George jr or another Giannis type player that can do it all.



He needs work on handles, etc... but you can't really beat 19 yrs old, 6 foot 7 (probably will get taller) with a 7-2 wingspan AND elite athleticsm.

Plus his jumper might be in a few years.

I don't see the Nick Young comparison besides the low assist totals

Oubre isn't a chucker... Young was and still is. In college, Young was a one-dimensional scorer, and he was pretty good at that. But, he was a goofball and he had a learning disability, and he ended up struggling to learn the team's playbook.

Oubre rebounded like a PF. He got steals. He blocked shots. He committed fewer turnovers than Young.

I dont watch a whole lot of college basketball, so when in doubt I do like most coli posters and look for similar body types, hair styles, skin complexions, throw something against the wall and hope it sticks.
