Coli Hoop Heads: If Duncan wins 5th 'ship this year, does he retire?

If the Spurs win the title, that would be 5 ships for Duncan, in a 15 year career. The man is 37 years old, and it would be tough to try to get up for another season when you can go out on this high note.

I may be in the minority ...but I'd want one final DEFENSE of the title before retiring ...Sitting my ass as the champion wouldn't hold me over, I'd have to know I could do it again and have that thought erased to be at ease ..

Wouldnt be surprised.The way the Spurs are playing it reminds me of when Jerome Bettis was retiring,the team wanted to get him a ring before retirement.I wouldnt be surprised if Duncan went out a champ.IMO Next year is probably his last.
