Don't get me wrong playing basketball has always been fun. Something to do as a kid that didn't require $$ to do often, and you could always find ppl willing to play.
But are nikkas really grown as shyt still looking for any and every pickup game and/or summer league or 3 on 3 tourney?
Group of ppl I hang with all play ball. Same tournament every year (shyts like 60 games with a month break or some shyt) but these fools pay $10 a game for this "league". I don't even know what the winner gets because these nikkas don't never win (its hella teams tho like 35 or some shyt)
fukk I look like handing over $600+ for some rec? All these damn parks with hoops and shyt
I'm not gon front I really don't see a reason to actively pursue a hoop dream outside of high school. That's what I see these dudes (and countless) others doing.
