This could explain the loneliness and dating problems for some. The more I learn about "high functioning autism".

Many go undiagnosed until adulthood if it ever occurs to them.
Symptoms kind of align with social anxiety, shyness and not into small talk.
It's not those things, hence why it goes undetected so long. I'm considering to seek a diagnosis soon, just to be sure.

There are a lot more of us with asperger's than we'd like to admit. There are a lot more of us who haven't gotten the corrected diagnosis due to, in so many words, our history that leads us to today. Special education doesn't factor us in yo the equation and instead remedial-izes, leading to indignity, and finally apathy. Those that can get it can get help, but that generally only lasts until high school. After that

When the kids who need more are forced through school at the same speed are left with inadequate understandings plus heavy social stigma from being "slow" or on the "short bus" meaning they never got even what already is insufficient...


I firmly believe the are a lot more psychopaths and asperger's cases in our midst and everyday we lengthen the lack of cultural use for these types of people that can be ennobled and enabled, unless we come up with ways to channel them properly.

Yeah they can be bright or/and talented.
For any posters we do have with it, it would most likely be "high functioning autism". Jay-Z is super awkward but an amazing lyricist. Kanye is definitely on the spectrum, brilliant hip hop producer needless to say.
I'm no expert but it's so evident in their behavior when not performing nor with familiar company.
