Beyonce was able to have an underdog / scorned women fan growth and material for edgy new albums to come.

Jay Z kept the player hip hop persona and had more material to use and play the audience with.

Solange got her name in people's mouths... (for a while) which was way better than before.

Who the heck would film and take pics on an elevator anyway.

While they still refer back to it. That's the worst thing you do a couple. Forget and move on is a MUST.
