2pac came out as a militant minded revolutionary type of rapper, that took the past of history generation and the current generation and put them into 1 gap and called it THUG-LIFE instead of you marching for freedom and just being a Black Panther, he told the message that you can adapt to the environment and make it your own to over come it type of shyt, then you had Bone Thugs N Harmony coming str8 out of bad azz midwest Cleveland, young talented brothers, that came from the mud, and lets be real, when u come from the mud so young, you seen and lived it all, so these nikkas was thuggin and they wasn't fools either tho.. they put that THUG shyt really out there for yall nikkas to take it and run with it...
