I had it for 10 years but I haven't been playing for 10 years. It was all fukked up. I just got it tuned and setup right which helped a lot. I mainly pluck with my index and middle fingers. Working more on using all my fretting hand fingers

Been playing piano on and off my whole life.

FL Studio and the music production game and sound design took me over the last few years, but not the same feeling like playing an instrument live with other folks.

Working on walking bass myself
That’s dope!

Don’t know how far along you are but first learn the chord changes and walk chromatically on the downbeats to the root note of each chord.

Jump as small intervals as you can when you start!

Then after practicing for half a year or so your bass will start to talk to you, music is a language after all! Then you’ll start coming up with all sorts of crazy ideas like jumping octaves, chromatic enclosures etc, and you’ll be able to hear it in your head while and before you play it.

Just a general rule of thumb, again not patronizing, but avoid the fourths and the ninths of chords when walking. Have fun breh

Props. I play guitar too so I'm already familiar with chords changes and know my way around the neck fairly well. It's mostly technique I have to work on
