Is there an appropriate age to give a child a smart phone? I got my oldest 14 his very first smart phone but now my daughter 7 decided she want's one. I'm debating with my wife that I can get her one of those joints that can only call certain numbers mainly ours and it isn't really a smart phone. But my wife thinks we should just leave it how it is she has an IPAD and a smart watch that allows her to call us...The issue is I have seen that some of her friends do have smart phones and some don't.
I think I may just end up hitting her with the we will discuss this next year line. I didn't even want to get my oldest a phone but he actually needed it due to practices and stuff plus I honestly need to be able to track him in bumblefukk Oklahoma.
