Got my neaf out chea eating on the table watching toy story, ive given him a 20min time limit to finish the food on his own or im feeding him, guys only 4 years old but damn i thought he was hungry, why he trying to waste my dish smh these kids, i'll switch the shyt to the news real soon

Wait until he says he's hungry, if he doesn't don't worry about it, hes not a baby that needs 2-3 hours feeding constantly.
When my daughter says shes hungry, I make her something or my wife does, unless we about to eat lunch or dinner and make her wait til then, and if she don't eat when we do, we save the food for when she's ready but 90% of the time she will eat with us as in only eat something if we eating it or off our plate

don't usually have this issue and this only applies to my four year old. all I tell her is that I want her to make me a "happy plate" (which means a clean plate) and when she does and comes to show me, I make a big deal out of it. however, since she really likes vegetables, this typically only applies to her eating meat when she don't wanna eat. when she eats all her vegetables and leaves the meat, I don't even trip about it then.
