Looks like I'm going in the market for another car soon. The 911 is cool but I need something new to look at. That being said, yall know what I like; something older with less electronics for me to worry about. I could go for newer if its not a pain for me to work on (another viper opposed to a ferrari 355 and up). After I buy this next property (sept-oct), I will make my pick.

Seen a dude riding in this yesterday. SL65 AMG black series. Timeless beauty, Spaceship coupe status :wow:

I respect that car for what it is, but for 100K+ I would rather buy a used murci. Plus I can't even imagine where to begin if something were to break on it.
I would go for another viper. It just seems like a ignorant and rare car all around :ohhh:

lol nikka said ignorant. I was seriously thinking about it, and I'm not going to lie; its my top 5 right now.

What price are you working with? That's a start so people can throw ideas

I don't know what you are looking for. Dodge Viper and Porsche 911 have electronics.
You could always keep the 911, but replace the front and rear quarter panels with Turbo quarter panels. Then, get wider wheels to fit.

100k at the very most on a toy.

Yeah they have em, but there are very very few compared to say a AMG SL65. I did all of the work on my viper and 911 and I never had any major electrical failure, but when the idrive went bad back when I had a 760li I had to take it to a shop where it sat there for about 2 weeks.

I get it. I try to do most mechanical work on my car. When it's an electrical problem, I have to bring it to the dealership.
