Hey brehs. It's your friendly neighborhood Paper Boi. I have been on this site for over 12 years now. A few days ago we had a scare where the site went down for over 24 hours. We thought this was the end frfr. I don't know about you guys, but I still like the people here.

In the last couple years, my activity on this site has dropped off a cliff due to real life family oligations, but when it was down for over 24 hours on Thursday, I realized how much I do pull this site up just to browse the news and see what my like minded internet folk been talking about.

I am not an admin or a mod on this new site, nor do I want to be, but I don't want thecoli to die and leave us out in the cold one day and we're all scrambling for a place to be and everyone goes off in separate directions. We need to be proactive with this shyt if we want the legacy of thecoli and sohh to stay alive. If the current admin who doesn't post or update anyone about shyt bans me over this advertisement so be it. I am one of the most dapped posters on this site. I am probably on pace to be the highest dapped poster with 100k posts at some point at like embarrassing ratio, still I'd rather be banned and advertise the new shyt than for us all to stick around on a sinking ship with no life raft.

We're at like 700 new members in the course of less than 2 days, and it's a weekend where people aren't even around, we will hit 1000 members before most even know we exist.

During the 48 hour (STILL UNEXPLAINED!!) coli outrage many posters now find themselves permanently locked out of the site awaiting a confirmation email that will never come to regain entry, for them there is definitely a real reason to use the new site.

We have Detroit born boothers bushed for political opinions, for those who dont want to post under the tiktokian rule of CAPSLOCK overlords there is a real reason to use the site.

In the beginning there was about 40 of us, confused, angered, saddened, scared...unclear on how or where we would discover, share and discuss new piff, I myself felt uneasy and wasn't sure what to do, I found myself in the grocery store staring blankly into the potato chip aisle at the bags of "Rap Snacks" Snoops BBQ flavor, Nicki Minaj Ruffled Ranch,
Master Ps Sour Cream & Ughhnion etc
and while standing there in a daze holding a bag of NAScho Cheese Corn Rounds a store clerk tapped me on the shoulder asking if she could help me find anything to which I loudly replied to her
HA! Camel lost!!!

She had no clue what I meant

As I sat on the back of the EMS van completing my mental wellness check I got a notification, to my surprise @thaKEAF was leading the charge, buying domain names, making custom Dame daps, new smileys, SO MANY NEW SMILEYS!! Before i knew it there were 100s of us, building, brainstorming, together, as a community, with a common goal...I haven't seen that here in a long time.

As I walked away the medic yelled out to me "Sir! We need our blood pressure band back!" I just turned around and smiled and said "Negged CAC...negged, theres a new Mobb Deep album dropping soon and I have somewhere to be, that somewhere might not have a name yet, but its home."

So I would say theres lots of real reasons to use the new coli, the real question is in the coming months will there even be a reason to use THIS site and will it even exist.

Thankfully, at the new coli when technical support is needed you can actually get an answer, in fact you can even receive troubleshooting while on another site.
