The Afterparty: @Chip Skylark 's record was the first one that i was intent on voting for my first go around. My man's flow was on point, I loved the chorus, I can see it being a hit in the clubs and the beat did what it was supposed to do. As far as the mixing, the vocals seem like they take a backseat to the instrumental, although I don't know what to attribute it to due to a lack of know-how regarding song engineering.
Forget Me: My favorite chorus outta the six

"send me sexy thots an henny shots"

@bigrodthe1 u wylin for this shyt.

this the kinda stupid shyt I be on so I love when artists have fun on records. I'm mad that the mixing is poor tho...

Beat is clean. Simple, but knockin, like Swizz would say. I can't judge the flow or the bars cause the mix quality is getting in the way.
You Ain't Going Nowhere: I actually heard this track last by accident. I was playing these records earlier this afternoon and I scrolled to the other three, and when I came back to the tab and scrolled up to play each record a second time is when noticed this one. I loved the beat on this one as soon as I pressed play...
Stop the Show: I been heard my nikka
@FruitOfTheVale record so scrolling down and seeing this was like seeing a friend on TV

The tone of the chorus feels off to me the same way Redman's Blow ya mind chorus feels off, but I appreciate the song structure and certain lines/ wordplay throughout the song....
Because You Different: I fukk w/ the beat and you got a dope voice and delivery on the record
@LauderdaleBoss . I would say that the lines aren't catchy enough in my humble opinion, as in, it sounds like you haven't rapped long enough to develop a personal style. You know how when you read certain lines you can tell "oh that's a nas bar" or "so and so wrote this" it sounds like you aren't flexing enough lyrically. But I fukk w/ the overall energy of the record.
Off the Past: @Cladyclad is that autotune?

Even with the short, trailer of a trailer length of the song, the song has a dope, clams casino-lite vibe to it. The flow is off/ doesn't sync up w/ the beat tho, and lyrically it has the same issue I got with "because you different"... the bare bones-ness of the lyrics makes it feel too personal to where I can't enjoy it as a song. Like you know when a nikka you just met 2 minutes ago starts telling you his life story and on the inside you like "

", I get that feeling from listening to this shyt. Also the mixing has the same issue as BigRod's shyt. But I respect it on some Lil' B shyt.
Overall, I picked
"You Ain't Going Nowhere" by
@Mr. Leonidas . The cadence ain't my favorite but that's a personal thing. And some of the lines are a play on Big & Jay lines, but the lines that aren't stand on their own. But ultimately, the combination of the catchiness/breeziness of the beat, and the confidence in the delivery, encourages repeat listenings, and that's what made it stick out to me the most.
I respect y'all competition.

Look forward to the next one.
