Philly bouls, Trust the Process
Colin is nothing but a provocateur

The Thunder are 33-9 when Westbrook gets a triple double
The Thunder average more points per possession when Westbrook gets a rebound versus anyone else on the team
I don't want to hear about stat padding or how his triple doubles aren't essential.
When Westbrook is off the court the Thunder are far worse than Brooklyn analytically.

I'm a Philly fan, from Philly, AI is one of my 3 favorite players ever, I got to even meet the guy on multiple occasions, but let's be real here.
Notice how Colin doesn't mention Mutombo who was also on that team, who was still DPOY, an All-Star, All-NBA 2nd Team, and league leader in rebounds that season. Mutombo was better than anyone on OKC not named Westbrook.
Iverson was an overrated defender who hung in the passing lanes. He wasn't a bad defender, but his steal totals overrated his actual defensive presence.

Iverson in the playoffs 2001: 32.9ppg, 6.1apg, 4.7rpg, 2.4spg, 38.9%FG, 77.4%FT, 1.1 Points per shot
Westbrook in the playoffs: 37.4ppg, 10.8apg, 11.6rpg, 2.4spg, 38.8%FG, 80.0%FT, 1.23 Points per shot

Let's also not forget that Russ had Beverly hounding him the entire series. He has to do everything on the court for these guys. His 40 minutes are different from other player's. He's running the entire show at all times sprinting up and down the court. My 76ers almost got bounced twice by Toronto and Milwaukee.

Who the hell did he have to trust on his team? Oladipo shooting 34% from the field and 24% from 3 averaging more shots than points in that series? Roberson who is intentionally left open? Outside of Russ, not a single player on OKC averaged more than 8rpg per 36. Russ is the only player on the team who had a positive OBPM.

Iverson carried a team that had less talent than OKC to the Finals.

Did the media :cape:for him the way they did with Westbrook this season when he didn't play well?

I don't know why ppl try to make comparisons to Colin and the likes of Jim Rome like like they just good ole cacs on that :mjpls:. Yes dude is white and conservative but he makes good points in different ways often than not

Well then they were even worse offensively than i remembered :yeshrug:
nikkas leaving Eric Snow wide open like "Yeah OK:lolbron:"
Matt Geiger and Todd McCollough beasting down low

You could be shyt offensively back then and be carried by a great d and singular star. That is not going to cut it in today's league, as far as contending that is.

BTW Dikembe was indeed beasting down low...on like 10 shots despite shooting 60%.

Westbrook's style of play is not conducive to winning a championship.

Forget the horrific defending, ineffeciency and high TO's, his decision making in the clutch is mind-boggling. He completely freezes out his teammates and only passes when he needs to be bailed out. People forget the last time the Thunder made the finals the offense was being run through the Harden in the 4th not Westbrook.

Yeah, Westbrook is just constitutionally a bad decision maker on the court in crucial times. I can't stan for somebody like that. And Durant wasn't much better on that front, which is why OKC with so much talent couldn't win a ring.

Durant = amazing scorer, but stupid and a beta

Westbrook = alpha and elite energy, but stupid as fukk on the court

You do realize the 1 seed in the east right now has a point guard who's 5' 9" and the center is Al Horford, right?

The 76'ers won 56 games, the 2 seed were the Bucks who won 52 games; this year the Celtics only won 53, and the 2/3 seed Cavaliers/Raptors both only won 51.
You think any of those teams beating the Raps, Wiz, or Cavs in 7 games. Records don't mean nothing when the worst of the East were straight awful in '01

The 76ers (2nd worst team in the East) are better than the bottom four teams in the East that season, now that says something. Those teams have easier nights against the bottom half of the East making their record better. shyt didn't Miami have the best record in 2017 this year and they ended up 9th.

This Thunder team in the 00 East, with no zone, breezes to the Finals. The funniest part is that Colin was probably one of the main people going at AI's neck back then. Now he's hopping on his nuts just to shyt on Russ.

:salute:

haven't listen to him inna while
but i remember them ESPN days of him shytting on AI all da damn time
