Steven A was speakin some real shyt that went over alot of nyggaz heads. i know a few nyggaz that refuse to understand that we live in a white mans world. they be on some buck the system shyt. Fools be tryna get high payin jobs but wont cut their dreds. nyggaz have a hard time gettin employed. especially out here in the bay, the police harrass nyggaz extra hard if u have dreds AND nyggaz are quick to see whatchu about if u rock dreds

Alot of cats just don't know the game in the real world. Having revealing tats is an easy way to fukk up your bread. That and dreads unfortunately. Some people literally don't know. It's fukked up, but that's the game. And it goes for ALL colors too with tats.

:yeshrug:

i still dont understand this. i have dreads. all the men in my family do. one of my uncles is a news anchor for a major network in a big city. another uncle is the assistant district attorney for a major city. their dreads are neat and long so they pretty much wear em in a pony tail at work. is that why people arent judging them?

Did he bring up athletes needing to make a more professional presence to be a better influence to the younger generation but throws in "Lebron James makes 100milli in his career and can do that"

Which one is it dude

he was making some valid points. but for what? the topic of discussion isnt "can young black kids have neck tattoos and get good jobs" its should kaep be criticized.

the answer is no. he's a professional athlete whos income isnt based on how presentable he is. 90% of pro athletes have tattoos and its unfair for kaep to be singled out. if you want to single someone out do it to one of the high profile white guys with tats. and honestly if the tattoo can be covered up when you're wearing a suit, then people should shut the fukk up about it.

there are ALWAYS exceptions to the rule, but for the overwhelming majority, it's not the case. Clean cut is the way to go.

If white boys have tats, employers say they're a "bad boy" and give them a chance to spicen up the workplace. A black man with the same tats is considered a risk. fukk you, fakkit.
