Colin Wolfe built beats with Dr. Dre for The Chronic

I posted this in another thread, but i think it deserves it's own topic because this has information about how one of the best albums of all times came to be. Colin Wolfe talks about working with Dr. Dre on "The Chronic", N.W.A.'s "Efil4Zaggin" and Jimmy Z's "Muzical Madness". He also talks about working on "2001".

Major props for the link :salute:

Interesting to read the timeline, Colin Wolfe had a major hand in Dre's sound from the Ruthless days even until '2001' but the Death Row days was just :whew:

Colin left Dre/Death Row and worked with MC Breed in '93 and also did this remix for George Clinton in '96 which I've been banging non stop for the last hour

I wonder if he meant that he produced "Forgot About Dre" or did he make the beat. He wasn't credited for anything on "Forgot About Dre" in the booklet.

You didn't know about that album? It turned into that 5150 EP because of Dre leaving etc.

I'm just watching the "Death Row Chronicles". Good to see Colin Wolfe in this. I've seen almost all of the Death Row Records related documentaries and i can't remember seeing him in none of them. He deserves a bit more recognition.
