College 3pt line and shot clock needs to be the same as the NBA

OP is dead on. I think that an extra 11 seconds on the clock just ugly up possessions. No reason for a shorter 3 point line too. Hurts guys ability to adapt to the pro game having to now shoot from longer. In the college game you not get a more clogged floor and guys taking forever doing nothing and we still see guys all the time take bailout "fukk it" shots with 15+ seconds left. No reason for that. These are just a few reasons I can't stand college basketball. 5 stars and +10 for @Buckeye Fever

Go to a college message board and see how much they hate the NBA game. I bet they are a bunch of white dudes too.

Then, they bring up dumb shyt like "yeah they won, but does their coach graduate players?"

And that 18 passes on a possession shyt I said was true. On the Illini board in during their final 4 season, they made a thread on an 18 pass possession they had vs Northwestern Them dudes were like "omg! That was the best possession I've ever seen!!!"

College has a longer shot clock because they can play zone without a defensive 5 second call. Its probably a rule designed to create parody. When the defense can get into a competent zone it can keep the opponents best players from dominating one on one matchups, somewhat evening the playing field. the 3 point line is shorter because of course, they're amateurs. Regardless of their desires to go pro, the vast majority of college players are not NBA talents and the rules reflect that.

But I do agree with @TheGreatShowtime, the possession arrow is retarded and needs to go. You don't need NBA talent to perform a jump ball.

it's more likely that you go overseas than you do the NBA, so in reality, the three point line in college IS preparing you to go pro.
