If you are upset by this then you don't understand capitalism. Also, if these programs are losing $11M per year, there has to be some gain they are getting that is undocumented. For all we know, they "reported" $11M loses so that they can justify not paying the players.

Does the $11M lose include EVERYTHING in athletics or is it reporting the stadium/ticket revenue? Does it include product licensing? Does it include merchandise? Does it include TV rights? Does it include video games (licensing)?

definitely, altho i dont think students should pay as much as they are now. Thats a problem

We may be saying the same thing, but I want to reiterate, that I don't have a problem with how much the students are paying, I have a problem with how much the schools are paying in total.

Meaning, students could be paying for 90% with the other 10% coming from tickets/apparel etc. and I'd be OK with that as long it is 90% of a reasonable number. It's a student life thing, just like the arts program where students are likely paying an even higher %...of a smaller budget...
