I'm not actually betting all of these, I just would like to post my thoughts on the higher profile games each day. I bet low profile games too but won't post them. Also won't be picking many double digit spread games unless I really like the underdog.

In college sports I'll take the home team in a spread in conference play majority of the time if there a plus or under -5

Like I say that is usually true. I never actually bet the favorite against the spread. I'll look for 2 favs I think won't lose at home and parlay them together on the money line. Can't stand betting a -4 and they win by 3.

For the sake of this thread though, I will post favorite picks.

I take more things into account than who is home, although it's a huge factor. I look for a lot of situational bets. Unranked underdogs at home vs ranked teams are usually big good spots to take the dog.

Look for spots where a team may be looking ahead to a big game and go against them. Or teams coming off a huge win that may be flat in their next game.

Indiana is actually an exception to that this week, they coming off big home win vs Iowa and now traveling to MSU but I just think the Hoosiers are rolling right now. MSU hasn't impressed me lately.

Yeah I learned the hard way. The week after the Super Bowl is a big underdog week. Its been so many upsets this week

Yup and I been pretty spot on with my reads lately so figured I'd make a thread.

Also like Duke was -2 yesterday and I really thought they'd win that game, but if you bet -2 is just a crappy way to lose a bet. Free throw situations seem to always kill a favorite covering.

Sparty got turnt in the second half, looking like a bad pick there. Hoosiers lost on offense now.

Pretty silly bad beat in the Boston College game, Cuse throws up a 30 footer with 10 seconds left at end of shot clock and it goes in of course. Puts Cuse up 14 and BC gets blocked on other end.

Cuse wins by 14 and covers

:stopitslime:

1-2 start

Wound up going 2-4 that's the tough thing about the sports betting roller coaster. One garbage time 30 foot three pointer as time expires for Cuse is the difference between breaking even and going 2-4

Moving on to a boring Monday slate.

NC State @ Virginia - UVA -12
Oklahoma St @ Kansas - Okie St + 15
