Buddy Hield is an example of how great college bball can be if players stay.

He went from a decent player to being really good and it made the entire team better.

College bbal needs the college football 3 yr rule. If football dudes avoid injury then bball guys can too.

Very few of these 1 and done guys are good in the NBA.

:beli:

Sans a few(Harden; Curry, Duncan), most of the premier franchise players drafted over the last 20 years have
either been HS players or guy who's stayed in college 2 years or less. Staying in college doesn't really do shot for you if you already possess NBA skills. There's not much Wiggins, Wall, AD, or Blake could have learned in college that they couldn't learn better in the NBA.

Blake Griffin stayed 2 years, then basically sat and learned for a full year in the NBA.

And there's always room for improvement. Allen Iverson didnt need to stay, Glenn Robinson avg 30ppg in college, lotta guys back then didn't NEED to stay. But it's what they did.

The Kobe's and Kevin Garnetts are RARE. Most of these guys fail to live up to a fraction of the hype.

I'm not even looking at that MVP list :comeon: I know it's filled with Lebron winning multiple times, as well as KD winning. And probably Kobe as well....come on man, Lebron & Kobe are sure fire top 5-10 all-time. They're NOT the rule.

As far as the leaders go, ehhh, I say every player needs to go for 3 years like football. But maybe really just though 2 b/c in college football most of those guys redshirt 1 year. So they're eligible after 2 years of actual play.

I check the box score and see a top 10 Maryland team lose to an unranked 6 - 19 school and only scored 65 points :scusthov: this is why if Maryland loses in March to a lower seed how can it be considered s thrilling upset :mindblown:

Even the top seeds ain't really sh*t this year. March Madness is going to be totally up in the air this go around.
