Comcast and Throttling

Yo, I suspect comcast is throttling sites like rapidgator, uploading.net, etc. I do a speed test and i'm at like 2.7 mbps, but when I try to download anything from rapidgator (or other locker sites like that), I get like 100 kbps. I try to download off itunes, and that shyt is like 2.5mbps. Is comcast throttling my fukking shyt? I called those mother fukkers and they say they are not, but something is fukking fishy. This shyt started to happen about a week ago.

I don't know what the fukk is up, but is anybody else having this problem with comcast?

Is there anyway to get around it? I need that download fix brehs. I need it. I'm feinding over here waiting for an 800mb show to download in like 5 hours as opposed to the previous 5 minutes

They aren't throttling. Speeds will just vary dependent upon where you are from downloading from and what speed can be handled on the server side at the time.

But why is it only rapidgator and uploaded.net that are slow (I have premium accounts with both)? I can download off of nvidia (for drivers) and itunes fast as hell (I just checked). It just started happening last week too. shyt's strange

I know there was that one about youtube throttling, but I couldn't find one about rapidgator, uploaded.net, etc. throttling. Link?

Something is going on breh, it just started happening last week and hasn't stopped since. I think there's some sort of background shyt going on that comcast is not telling us about. I'm gonna do some more research and try and figure this shyt out. Or I'll have to go to AT&T

I have Time warner and im also getting slow downloads from sites like rapidgator

200mb files are taking like 50 minutes when it used to take like 10. I dont know if theyre capping it this hard, but your shyt is premium and that shouldnt happen

This throttling shyt is still fukking happening to me. I looked at other options, but all I can get is fukking AT&T (who I will not go to).

I'm thinking about doing some VPN workaround. Has anybody every done this? Does it work? Recommendations?

comcast and att are both rip offs...unfortunately there is not many other options. Im waiting on Google Fiber here in Austin but in the meantime im using my phone to tether. Im getting 40mbs down on my nexus 4, while i was getting less than 5mbs on comcast and thats if it even worked.
