Comcast has taken cable 2 new heights... reconnect cable breh?

Comcast starting 1/1/14 made all premium channels part of their basic cable line-up
$89.99 for all channels almost. They still dikk you on sports packages and stuff like Nickelodeon 2 not part of basic
You know how they do

Then AFTER taxes/surcharges/etc your bill looking more like $130-140 range

Well at least there are no contracts so you dont even have 2 sign on 4 a 2yr agreement.
I dont see the value since I cut cable, but non internet savy ppl should be intrigued...

I moved just outside of Comcast's coverage, so I'm stuck w/ Charter. Showtime and TMC are included in my basic HD/Internet package...

...but $85 is doable until I really get into HTPC's!

HD is included. And whats tight about about channel surfing is they got it set up like Neflix. All the shows have cover boxes, you can go to "john-ruhz" and its a netflix ripoff. Even has "sports" and it shows every sporting event that is on at the time and later, netflix style. So no more stressful searches. It wasnt my house so i cant speak on exact speeds, but they watch netflix/hulu/videogames/multiple tablets/PC's/phones on wifi with no issues.

My folks have that Xfinity TV, and my lil bro has been telling me that the interface is piff. I never watched much TV over there recently because their old TV was trash and going out. I'll have to stop by and see what's good with it. I wouldn't mind getting it for that price, but I'm too used to my 50mbps net speeds and I doubt I can get all of that with cable.
