Simple answer. Stan Lee is still around. Kirby had passed before marvel blew up the way it did decades ago. So you have these old interviews. But nothing current. So history sides with the guy telling you the story face to face.

besides the 90s anything 2000s with the fantastic 4 is trash and the re-published versions were too complicated some of which didn't even take place in the Baxter building

His voice was giving the intros to all the cartoon episodes
His face was shilling marvel merchandise.
He may as well have been Marvel's mascot.

It's not that he (kirby) doesn't get praise. Stan Lee is just synonymous with Marvel Comics.

They got an interview that you can listen to on Youtube where Jack Kirby talks pretty much about the same exact things in audio. Interview is long as fukk though. I sat through the interview though, and it was well worth it.
