Common's Be is not a good album

At least in my opinion.

The problem isn't with Common's lyrics or flow, I think he's pretty well in those areas. However, when we're concerning about his beats on this project alone, we gotta agree it's fukking trash. The best beats on this were "Love Is.." and "It's your world"... I was getting sick of Kanye's sampling and it just made the hooks pretty atrocious.

It's not a bad album by any means, just not that good.

It's Your World was better than all of the Kanye beats but the Kanye beats were fine for the most part. One thing that did bother me about his beats though was on Faithful and Testify where Common was going in but those Ye beats were noisy as hell and drowned him out

I stay revisiting this and finding forever. This was when Kanye was trying to outdo everyone in the soul sample department.

Amazing fukking albums. Finding forever is best of the two.
