Compare Luther to a similar show.

Trying to figure out if I should start watching this show or not. I know my mind already going to be thinking The Wire comparison due to Idras Elba but I am not sure if I should invest my time in this. My favorite show is The Wire, followed by The sopranos, Then mad men/breaking bad. Never got into any those CSI dramas so not sure if ima like this. Help me brehs

Just watch it. There's nothing on TV right now better apart from Breaking Bad and maybe Homeland.

Honestly, best comparison I could make is that it's a much more cerebral version of The Shield, minus the level of corruption and the team dynamic. But that doesn't really do it any justice. Maybe a little Dexterish as well as far as the cat and mouse between the protagonist and antagonist.

nicca watch the show.....just know i dont watch shows involving cops (not the shield, the wire, law & order etc) but i fukks with luther heavy....and that show life too....pretty much the main dude in the cop show has to b more interesting than "just a cop" for me too watch it
