Having said that I do agree with what dude is saying. When you get sites like rap genius, that posts lyrics with meanings broken down, you allow people not familiar with the culture to make interpretations of it. Plus with bloggers and twitter and such news gets more magnified. 5 years ago you could drop a rhyme about dropping Molly in a bytch drink and raping her. Now you get your endorsement dropped. Pretty soon you won't be able to say fakkit, bytch, nikka and c*nt without major repercussions.

We comment on the race of the writer because there is an OBVIOUS disconnect between white ppl and black ppl when it comes to critiquing hiphop. U see, white ppl won't except the FACT that there are certain genres of music that they cannot and will not GET. Instead of excepting the fact that they can't relate to some rap music they would rather call the music that doesn't cater to them trash or ignorant.

Ross is a perfect example of this. Cacs obsession with street cred and what's "real" is just a by product of them over compensating. It's the same reason they hang on to "90s hiphop" because it's a safe choice. I can tell almost immediately if a cac has written a piece of hiphop literature for that very reason. I like the fact that Ross never folded to cac influence like a lot of his contemporaries....The article is full of logical fallacies yet because it's about a person u don't like u will except it as gospel....typical cac behavior. Ross is no different than any other rapper when it come to embellishments, it's just unfortunate that cacs have him in their cross hairs as the nikka they can take their frustrations out on online when it comes to this hiphop shyt.
