1: He's the most commercially successful rapper making music right now.

2: He's consistently relevant.

3: He's the most in-demand featured artist.

4: Drake and Nicki Minaj make him "hot" by default.

5: He takes a lot of risks for someone so mainstream.

6: He fathered what's arguably the most popular style in rap right now.

7: He still makes great music.

He fathered what's arguably the most popular style in rap right now. — Lil Wayne Won't Make the "Hottest MCs" List but Here's Why He Should | Complex

Well at least we have some one to blame now :pachaha:

But dude is right, Future is basically T-wayne 2.0

And alot of these new rappers sound like old Lil Wayne.

Its just too bad that lil wayne can't rap like old lil wayne anymore.

"Wayne deserves some kudos for its ubiquity. "

:what: They wrote that like he contributed something good and necessary to the game.

It feels good to finally see the end of YMCMB or at least see end of their oversaturation. I don't have anything personal against those people just good to see variety in hip-hop again. This isn't the end end but 2013 is a start.

All the OG rappers still out today try to sound like the new hot young bulls instead of starting new trends themselves....why would they look up to Camel or others :artbarr:
