I have no strings on me.
Its the climate man. Structures retain value longer in dry climates. It's 77 degrees year round and a large percent of residential structures are built with stucco. Acres Homes in Houston is designed with a sprawl similar to Compton or Watts, however due to humidity, flooding and extreme heat, properties don't retain their cosmetic value as long. Similarly on the East Coast and upper Midwest, freezing rain, snow and extreme cold have an adverse effect on the look and feel of structures. Add to that the population density in New York that forces you to build upward, whereas down south and out west there's urban sprawl which has a much more appealing look and feel. In summation, Compton is very photogenic, but the element is still there![]()
ahhh...never thought about that. Love it when people bring some type of science to explain things..
