yall ignoring the fact that he wasn't the only person programming videos.
he dedicated a whole segment to saluting dr teeth. rap city was basically where most of the southern artists blew up during the exact same time period that hes talking about. all he said was that he wasn't the one behind the south videos getting played. he didn't say that rap city didn't play them.
pimp c was prolly just mad because they didn't play HIS videos. it doesn't even make sense to diss BET seeing that they were the only ones playing most south videos like that, even moreso than the box. it would've made more sense to diss MTV but obviously he wasn't going to do that.

he admitted to being biased though. he never checked for southern artists.
On one had he's saying that now one person dictates what get's played as opposed to several people, but he can't knock someone for putting out their favorite songs/artists when he did the same thing.
he can be biased all he wants as long as theres somebody up there picking up the slack. he put on for the east coast, dr teeth put on for the south, and im sure there were others there as well. and they kept chit moving properly.
you would have a point if he controlled rap city all by his lonesome and just played a bunch of east coast videos. but that wasn't the case. theres no comparison to what BET has been doing for the past 10 years.
rap city is the main show that had a hand in blowing up no limit, cash money, hypnotized minds, slip-n-slide, suave house, rap-a-lot, darn near all that chit.

haven't touched bet in over 8 years. bet compromises an entire culture yet we are soo unaware and uneducated we allow the imagery we see to manipulate our lives. I look around young nikkas and bytches are actually enjoying being puppets. we are not as strong as my heroes led me to believe.......
