In Maryland payday loans are illegal, if a payday lender gives you funds and you're a Maryland resident (a few other states as well) you legally don't have to pay it back, they can't sue you and have no recourse. The way I did it was I got like four of them between $400-800 all around the same time then when it was time for them to take the payment out I had my bank close that account 5 days prior
