I never understood why yall found Taxstone fascinating
Only thing dude talked about on his podcast was being locked up.

Only people that found that interesting were people that were never about that life.
Ain't nothing cool about that.

Just seemed like Tax came along at the perfect time. When Vice had white people dropping documentaries about hoods they stayed in for 2 days and Complex was reporting on just fukk shyt, Tax was just a voice from the streets that people could latch on to for authentic culture commentary. Pair that with hip-hop podcasts seeing a surge in popularity at that moment and it was just a perfect arrangement of things lining up.

I liked Tax cause he could bring shyt out of others that a lot of current journalists can't. The obsession the Internet grew with him tho was wild.

You barely listened then.

Tax wasn't killing the podcast game by only talking about jail clearly. That's ridiculous :mjlol:

Stop diminishing his accomplishments
While saying he only talked about jail is an exaggeration, his appeal and schtick if you will, was clearly his prison/tough guy persona. People who knew him knew it was basically all exaggerated or flat out lies, but his voice was different so it caught on.

He started trying to lay the feminist/pro black/woke talk when it became popular on twitter, like his OG :mjlol: Charlamagne

Tax had been on the internet being a clown/funny guy (no disrespect that’s really the angle he was going for) for damn near a decade when he “blew up”

I always felt like he was a lame dikkhead azz n!gga because of how he came across
Always talking about his lil street accomplishments like he the only one that went through street sh!t...
Which came off real lame cuz real street n!ggas is not really telling all they bizness on a damn podcast

That n!gga whole voice was annoying his hairline was annoying
Then he talking bout he just started his own blood set and he was good after that ...yea right ...that made New York sound weak as fukk when in reality he woulda been dealt with severly
Whole bunch of
:duck::duck::duck:
From this character...

:gucci::hhh:

Dont drop the soap my n!gga

RIP banga

You've got all kinds of guys spilling their beans to Jewish Vlad with glee so the idea of street nikkax keeping their yap shut is one step short of a movie. There is no rhyme or reason to this shyt

I thought you were in there rumbling with nikkas or robbing people. Maybe even drugs but fukking hotsauce?:beli:Man what kind of bullshyt is that. That shyt is light compared to other things that goes on in jail.

Unfortunately I’ve been too you’re usually on 23. hour lock down for a couple days until you get classified and sent to whatever tier or dorm you’re gonna be staying in. Unless you’re segregated for whatever reason you’re not gonna be on lockdown
You seem like a cool dude why was you locced up

Assault. I wasn't locced up thou cuz. They threw me in a 10 man dorm. We had VHS a phone a chess set and dozens of books. I read 3 Tom Clancy novels and got nice at chess. We had an hour out every day for rec. It was a little pod but it was better than any tier. By the time I left we were all cool. Don't get me wrong it was wack but it wasn't as bad as I expected. My son had just been born so I was mentally fukked up but I coulda got classified to a much worse area. It was the old part of Albany County jail so it looked crazy when they brought me down there like a dungeon but it was literally the best place to be in the whole jail. 7west
