Here's the problem. Corruption aside These African countries sit on all these resources but have no means of extracting them or using them to create/supplement their wealth. They pay foreigners in mineral rights to use the tools, build the refineries and export. While the other countries take the lions share and the scraps get divvied among the military/leadership. The average person see none of that.



Like it or not a lot of countries fear Trump and they low key respect Donald's 'strong man' image.
