Why will there automatically be fees and costs? Those platforms will still be around as well.

well most of those companies make their money either with selling ad space (traffic) or selling cloud space (storage)

ultimately the reason both are so cheap is because the platform is designed to eliminate processing waste on the companies end.

There are some things that are artificially inflating or deflating ad costs (bots and phony internet users)

That is the real battle being waged. My company specifically helps businesses serve ads that get around bots and fake users (wasted ad spend).

Harm means what tho? A lot of people preferred when IG was ad free and in chronological order. That's inferior to before. How was Xerox hurting people by being the only company to have copy tech first? No one really but the government still made them share the patent with other companies.
Competition and choice are a part of the definition of capitalism, if you don't have it you are not fulfilling the tenants of the philosophy. This idea a business has to be sinister and harmful you made up out of thin air.
