If you haven’t been radicalized.. what more will it take?
[Quoted tweet]
Congress has placed Wikimedia under federal investigation for including criticism of Israel in Wikipedia articles, requesting the information of individuals who contributed.

If the government can mess with Wikipedia for criticizing Israel, what’s next, silencing us all?
Wake up, people
12/37

Wikipedia allows people to publish misinformation and hawk the site to reject changes
13/37
@cointards
If you haven’t been radicalized by the killing of 200000 children over the last 12 months then this wont affect you at all.

Woe to them impostors.
15/37
@JerryTurin
Radicalized by federal authorities working with Wikipedia to investigate whether its platform is being systematically infiltered and manipulated by terrorist groups, foreign adversaries or other bad players, and that to the extent this has taken place, to work with them on tracing to the individuals representing these groups?
Are you out of your mind?
16/37
@MarkBarTweets
Well funnily, within the parameters of fulfilling this request Wikipedia would have license to publish Israel’s own attempted influence attempts in perfect detail.
17/37

Obligatory: as a Jew
Them "fighting antisemitism" generates more antisemitism. It literally makes it seem like Jews control everything (racism) rather than just Republicans hunting for pac money (reality), and Christian nationalists being apocalyptic psychos.

│ │ This is the real thing all the democratic politicians understand fully while playing dumb. The defense industry's relationship to Israel is sacred according to establishment politics. Virtually none of them, Republican or Democrat, are willing to stand in the way of it.

Wikipedia is unironically the modern library of Alexandria. Warring against Wikipedia is antichrist shyt. Actually assaulting knowledge and progress itself.

│ │ There are a couple of theories, bit one of the more popular ones is that it was an accident. They didn't actually burn down the library. They burned down one of its warehouses. And the Library of Alexandria was a sjadow of its former self at the time. It likely had little unique info there, if anything. Almost everything there had copies at other libraries.
│ │
│ │ The tragedy of the burning is pretty overblown, TBH. This attack on Wikipedia is gearing up to be WAY worse.
