The most unproductive congress of all time and they want a $70,000 raise. Would they get a raise like that in the private sector....better yet would they still be employed after putting the company in 35 trillion dollars in debt

I'm going off memory but wasn't so called "Obamacare" (The Affordable Care Act) meant to provide access to the lower class? Moreso about whether you choose to opt IN, rather than out??didn't they opt themselves out of Obamacare the same year they passed it?

I could have sworn they gave themselves a raise like 5 years ago. Meanwhile, Americans are struggling to afford rent, groceries, etc but these blood sucker's are making over 200k to barely work
no raise in 15 years is kinda crazy. 70k is a lot though

fukk all that, they haven't been willing to raise the minimum wage in that time period, and many of them are millionaires. No raise for these motherfukkers should be given.
