Audi is the most reliable European supplier of new cars on the U.S. market. This is the finding of the renowned American consumer magazine “Consumer Reports” in its “2015 Annual Auto Reliability Survey”, a broad-based ranking that is published annually.

“The very high position in the Consumer Reports confirms the real substance offered by the Audi model range in the United States,” commented Luca de Meo, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG. “By offering our U.S. customers convincing products, we have paved the way for a continuing positive development in the American market.”

The brand with the four rings builds on its strong performance in the “Consumer Reports”. It was already the best European manufacturer in the past three years (2012: 8th, 2013: 4th and 2014: 5th). Audi now advances to 3rd in the rankings. Its closest European rival brand is in 10th place and the closest European premium competitor in 11th place.

“Consumer Reports”, which is issued monthly, is published by the consumer protection organization of the same name. The magazine has over seven million subscribers. As a nonprofit publication it is held in high regard and its guidelines provide a guarantee of strict impartiality. Every year, “Consumer Reports” examines thousands of products in more than 50 laboratories.

For their latest reliability ranking, the U.S. experts evaluated information on over 740,000 automobiles submitted to them by their readers and online users over the past twelve months.

Well, this is a 2015 report on the 2015 model cars? So maybe their level of quality has improved. I don't have the money to afford any Audi so it doesn't really matter to me.

The resale is where the real value of a vehicle is determined since only the consumers/market determine the direction that will go.

All pretenses removed, there's a reason Lexus and Acura are in a different league in that category.

I've been riding Audi since 2009.
Almost 150,000 miles driving (A6 I put 100k on in 4 year, A8L I put 50k on 2
= years)

And we still rolling. Not much maintenance outside of brakes. Can't complain.
