Option 1 is literally the safest way. It's not even supposed to be a 3-month period, it's legit 6-10 weeks to slow it down, while mass-producing tests and masks and looking at clusters. shyt, SK set the map for what to do once you actually hit a curve. They didn't have to shut anything down either. We were slow, as were many, so the lockdowns legit save lives.
It's not about, "Only elderly" "One Percent" "most people are asymptomatic" it's more that we can't flood our hospitals. What happened in Italy is why you absolutely should take this seriously. Losing people is far more damaging to the economy than not working for a couple of weeks. shyt like that could be repaired.
shyt, NY has the most and it's only been about 2 weeks of being locked down and we managed to get the rate it was doubling down from 2-4 days to 6. That's with treatments and new tests coming out as well. It's only long if you're impatient ass can't wait.
