All that is true (yet I think it's more of a case of him having too much of a workload, as opposed to him disappearing) - yet that still doesn't take away from the dumb shyt @O.G.B said about him.

The extra excuses for Joe Johnson are just one of your many deviations to prevent yourself from looking less like the fool you really are. Plus none of this is what you've actually stated about Johnson being a key contributor for the Heat previously.

Joe Johnson is just what this Heat team were missing. :whoo:

Unfortunately, he's not consistent enough in his role.

3 point shooting?
No 3 pointers this series (0-10)
.323 during playoffs

Defense?
You can get better defense replacing him with Winslow or Richardson.

Scorer?
Only 12 points per game while averaging 30+ minutes a game.

He really needs to step up next game.
:yeshrug:
That's because he no longer has the ability to handle that type of workload. Again, he's a role player. He shouldn't be expected to play 30+ minutes every game as well as giving you #2 option type offensive #s. He's nearing the end of his 16th season at 35 - he would be best used as coming off the bench in limited minutes/specific situations.

You have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about. You're clueless. It's painful even responding to you.

So how much burn would you give him, part of the reason we acquired him was bc we lost Bosh and we needed more offensive and 3 point production :mjcry:

I mean I wouldn't go that far. :whoa:

If you want to know what an unreliable and streaky shooter looks like, look no further than Gerald Green. :scust:

Iso Joe had a great 1 to 2 maybe 3 weeks of very reliable shooting when he first signed with the Heat. Since then, he's had a few moments where he's stepped up big for us.

Other times he just looks like a role player.
:yeshrug:

:comeon:

Gerald Green isn't a starter for the Heat like Johnson nor he is playing @35.4 minutes a game in the playoffs like Joe Johnson is either (Green is only averaging 8.3 minutes a game playing just 9 games in playoffs thus far) so this isn't a valid or satisfactory comparison between the performance of the two players.

Then we are doomed, unless Dragic elavates his game to an entirely new level, or rookies and co step up...

Only so much Wade can do...

Did you watch the Heat regular season here before Joe Johnson arrived?
:skip:

His play when he was getting major minutes drove the Heat to look elsewhere and is one of the reasons why Joe Johnson is here.

When Johnson arrived, they stashed him deep on the bench.

He had a huuuuuge stretch of inconsistent shooting this season. But he's always been a streak shooter in general going back to his Phoenix days.

That's simply because I've proven that all your "expert" basketball theories & analysis have been completely atrocious & you have no legitimate rebuttals to substantiate any of the garbage you constantly spew.

At this point Spo has to try and cut his minutes down, even given the circumstances of no Bosh and others in foul trouble (Dragic in this game). There's no reason Johnson should be averaging 40+ minutes in this series. It's clearly having an impact on his ability to remain effective. I'd start Winslow and bring Joe off the bench, and then adjust the lineups according to how the game is going.

:martin:

We're discussing Gerald Green in the playoffs now, not when Joe Johnson came to the Heat towards middle end of the regular season so this point is irrelevant. And the stats show that the Heat actually were/are no more better with Johnson during the regular season once he arrived or currently during the playoffs which is my entire premise.

I hope Whiteside is OK

The streets needs Cavs vs. HEAT

Make it happen, Adam Silver :blessed:

Raptors are actually a good matchup with Cle......

Raps >>> Miami. We've been winning with DD and KL being invisible before this.

Cle v.s Toronto is going to be a lot more interesting than Lebron v.s Wade.

Raptors were a better team all year, let them wake up.

He doesn't, but you don't really need it with Wade, Deng and Dragic on the floor. Better to equal out their offensive output with Winslow's defense, and use Johnson off the bench to keep the offense running smoothly. And besides he's bound to get an easy basket or two with all the defensive attention Wade/Dragic/Deng command - much easier than it would be to score with the second unit, where there's no notable playmakers.
