I saw this last night and it made me so angry and disgusted. And this is the reason why I draw a clear difference between white officers who kill us (regularly) and those 5 officers that beat Tyre Nichols. This was clear intent to kill and in all the videos we see of white officers, they have absolute and clear intent to kill us. They pull their guns to shoot us and kill us. Those officers in Memphis had the intention to beat him, but I believe that if they knew he would die, they would not have gone that far.

With that being said, they should get the death penalty because intent (or lack thereof) doesn't excuse a person in causing someone's death.
