Well, I'm currently in college. And I'm majoring in Criminal Justice. I'm wondering if anyone here, also wants to become a fellow cop? Now I know I'm going get bashed because all "cops" are "pigs" stereotype. But I'm here to say. Not all of them are like that.

Furthermore who are you going call, when a situation arises? That pig might be the one saving your life. I'm just saying .. Anyway leave your feed back.

Don't understand your anger, but okay. And saying become a "criminal" is by far the most retreaded thing you can mention. I'm not one to continue the cycle of the bad apples that are out now.

I hate cops with a Passion,but sadly I followed the old motto;if you can't beat them join'em.

I took the NYPD test got an 83% and took corrections got a 85%.

Currently starting college in the fall for CJ. You not alone friend.

I've considered it but definitely couldn't handle the bullshyt. Heard some stories from social workers I volunteer with and if I were an officer supporting them in some of these cases, I wouldn't be able to handle it responsibly.

If you become a police officer you have to keep yourself in check. No one else will. That's become very clear. If you become cynical and a younger self would be ashamed of you, it's time to cash out. This country gives FAR too much leeway to officers and anyone who can't keep a sound moral compass and can't be introspective shouldn't be given a badge.

Besides that I say take every available opportunity to do good, even for people who don't do good for themselves.
