They absolutely should and while I believe both people are responsible for being scumbags, in general* I feel like the person you have legitimate beef with in these situations is whoever was supposed to be committed to you. That's the person that owes you loyalty and respect. The other person line stepped but it's your spouse/partner who is supposed to be a real one and shut that all the way down. That's why, when someone steps out on you, that's the person you gotta deal with cause, ultimately, that's the person who betrayed you.

*Now, one of the exceptions to that is if you're friends and you find out they been messing around w/your significant other behind your back. Because your friends are supposed to have your back and not stab you in it. In that situation, I ain't mad at folks who give both parties that work lol
