When I was in other spots that's strictly Friday attire so... I dunno mama lol

Now that I'm in a more IT based environment, things are a bit more relaxed but I still wear a Polo most days in the Summer and Spring

I dunno that feels like Friday attire still to me but who knows
IT they dont give a fukk because we aren't customer/client facing. If she was client/customer facing roles then yes her shoes are inappropriate. Even if the business was black owned they'd tell her the same thing. Idk wtf this chick on she weird and thinks she an exception to the standards in business...

She was dressed business casual. But her place probably sucks. Everywhere I've worked I've seen women dress like that

Shouts out to Gen Z. I love how they challenge the norms or the corporate work world. From dress codes, to refusing to slave away for petty promotions, to demanding work life balance.

I respect them little nikkas.

They intuitively recognize the inherent contradiction of corporate fiefdoms living side by side with a Democratic society.

When I was in the office those shoes would be part of a casual Friday outfit. I don't think it was worth her having to leave mid-day to get more appropriate shoes, but alot of Gen-Z is going to complain either way. If shes smart she won't put in any notice before she has something else lined up.

She'd be ok in my office. Engineering in the western part of the country in a non customer facing role, that'd be fine. Some dudes here be in Hawaiian shirts everyday. :mjlol:

If she's on the east coast working finance or insurance in a downtown office, she'd probably be a bit underdressed.

lol she don't work in corporate America. The braces, the lack of corporate speak and the tik tok tell she ain't in corporate America. The lack of a collar on her shirt tells me she's dressing to causally.

She just works in an Office not no damn corporate America :mjlol:

I work in tech so I’ve seen worse but people won’t take you serious coming into an actual corporate environment like rhat. Maybe on a special work casual day

Also lol @ her flexing with 2 degrees, bytch we don't care
My issue is that they flex about degrees that don't matter.

I'd completely understand if she had like a degree in particle physics or accounting or biochemistry. But usually when they say this, they're talking about generic business degrees or communications degrees, or worse the dreaded psychology degree.
