The fact it got to the point where she had to go buy shoes during work tells me it's either:
a) not as corporate as she's acting. like it's just an office job that still micro manages employees, ie: it's low level work and with no autonomy
b) she's a repeat offender who ignored the company wide reminder email about dress codes that HR sent out hoping she'd get the memo and they wouldn't have to send her ass home over some damn shoes
