Most cooperate jobs would prob ask her to change. At my job they literally don’t care, you could wear pajamas. As long as you’re clothed it’s not an issue.

I had to wear polos and pants to work while working in Iraq, Afghanistan and Djibouti. That shyt sucked. Imagine walking to work in 110 degree weather with 85% humidity.

Here in Japan, I wear what I want now. I can’t imagine going back. It’s summer so everybody rockin shorts and flip flops.

My next move is work from home.

1. I’ll say this, the really valued ppl can get away with a little more. So if you want to be able dress a little more how you want be valuable….im business casual and I wear sneakers, nike dad running shoes be super comfy. I could wear Sambas too but those maybe too flat for my liking.

But I wear with slacks, khakis, chinos and a button up. Fall/winter I throw a quarter zip on

Before Covid my Company had a pretty strict dress code. Women would get sent home for skirts being too short or having excessive cleavage showing. Though some women if they were hot enough they kind of slid through the cracks. Men had to wear shirts with a collar. You could generally get away with non descript sneakers. And you could only wear jeans on Fridays. I would say from my memory she probably would have been able to slide as a female in our office. Though they may have asked that she in the future wore a polo or blouse of some kind. Other than that I don't think she would've got in trouble.

Post Covid since the Company allowed people to switch to remote, hybrid etc. They changed the dress code. To where now they've had to send messages out about even though the dress code is relaxed. We can't be having people showing up in pajamas and shyt. Only if you meet regularly with Customers are you required to be more dressed up. I generally play it safe and just wear a polo and jeans. In the fall/winter I get a bit lazy and will just wear a zip up hoodie over a T-shirt.

Cut the bullshyt about we need to evolve

Stop trying to tell businesses how they should handle the policies they put in place

Talking about they should let you where them because u look cute

You can always go somewhere else or start your own business..

PS.. i work in the insurance industry at a large office and casual wear and tennis shoes is ok, but every company is different

lol she don't work in corporate America. The braces, the lack of corporate speak and the tik tok tell she ain't in corporate America. The lack of a collar on her shirt tells me she's dressing to causally.

Not all of us choose to speak and dress like the European in corporate spaces:respect:

I dont see an issue with what shes wearing. I see an issue with her having to work in white supremacy. This is the fathers or husbands job. But glad shes doing what she has to do for now. Some people would crash out over something like this. Remember, pick your battles and keep your eye on the prize. The goal is making enough money to leave that company if its a problem. The goal is to retire. The goal is to save enough money to leave white supremacy.
